This project is most importantly to provide participants with seeds and animals to start with to be able to provide a sustainable income therefore reducing poverty. The community will also gain access to safe water.
This will be done by training participants on how to carry out modern ways of farming. Business Overview

Akasi Farm Initiative is an agri-community business that offers families agricultural help that gives them a sustainability start to earning in order to be able to feed themselves. To simplify this I will give a sample cycle below of how the initiative prepares to manage this. This Project is self Sustaining for the next 5 years once offered the first grant.

PRODUCTS

The livestock on budget to be supplied are 200 goats, 200 cows and 400 pigs and 400 chicken. Each house-hold is planned to get 1 goat, 2 cows and 2 pigs. The livestock will then multiply after a year. For example if 2 pigs give birth to 10 piglets a year, five piglets remain with the pilot family and the other five are picked by AFI and distributed to 2 new families therefore 200 more families and one remains at AFI for sustainability purposes . This distribution happens for the next 5 years.
